Does Lily get a second chance?
We know she deserves one and we are praying someone is able/willing to come forward to give her that chance. We promise you will fall in love with her as we have.

Located in Hamilton, dear Lily hasn't had a good dog life so far. She has been mostly chained in the backyard and has had back-to-back pregnancies.
At 8 years old, she deserves a soft bed inside and a good life.

Lily is currently being fostered but really needs her permanent forever home!
Her foster Mum says "Lily is a lovely, sweet girl, she warms up to people quickly once introduced and is great company, she loves a walk but does bark at people/dogs due to her anxiousness, she is learning some commands & responds when called. She would greatly benefit from consistent ongoing training"

We need someone with patience and understanding, someone committed to showing Lily what a dog life should be!

As a mature lady, Lily doesn't need a high energy home, just somewhere she can go for a run in the back yard followed by a nap next to her person on the sofa.

Lily would need to be either an only dog or with a chilled out desexed male as unfortunately she has not been socialised and can be reactive. She has shown fear aggression towards some men, we are hoping for either a female owner or a couple who are happy to help her learn to trust again. She is good with men once they give her time, kindness and understanding.
She is good with children.

Lily is desexed, up to date with vaccinations, registered and microchipped.

We request two meet and greets before a two-week trial period and depending on where you , meet halfway at a suitable location like a park.

Please note, all prospective homes will be subject to property inspections and the Paws Awhile Dog Contract.
