Tama – Looking for His Forever Home

Tama is a lovable 1.5-year-old Staffy x Bulldog mix with a big personality and the cutest underbite – sometimes his lips get stuck and you’ll catch him giving you the most adorable little grin.
We adopted Tama from the pound earlier this year, and he’s made great progress with training and learning how to be part of a home.

• Has learned a lot and is eager to please
• Loves to zoom around, go on long walks, and snuggle in a cosy blanket
• Loves his treats
• Quiet nature – not too much of a barky dog
• Not fully crate trained, but we’ve been working on it – he’ll go in for food and if we shut the door he will sit or lay there until we open it.
• Good with other dogs, but due to his age and energy, his play can be a bit full-on
• He has been trained to be outside during the day and indoors with the family ehen we are home

We’re heartbroken to be rehoming him, but unfortunately Tama isn’t the right fit for our household with young children (ages 4 and 7). He’s not aggressive, but he plays very rough – he’s latched onto clothing during play, treating it like a tug toy. It's just too much for little ones.

Tama would do best in a home with:
• No young children
• Adults or older kids/teens who understand strong, high-energy breeds
• A secure yard and active lifestyle
• Someone committed to continuing his training and giving him structure
If he's around small kids, he needs to be supervised or separated to avoid any accidental injuries during play.
Tama is a sweet, goofy, and energetic boy who will thrive in the right home. He has so much love to give and just needs someone who can match his energy and continue guiding him as he grows.
