Tuna is a sweet, outdoor-loving cat with a real sense of adventure. He's a big fan of chasing toys on a string and will happily entertain himself. Most days you'll find him snoozing in his window hammock, soaking up the sun, or having a mooch around the house checking in on everyone.

He's not a lap cat and prefers to keep to himself rather than be handled or fussed over, though he does love getting cosy at the end of the bed, especially on a lazy weekend morning. Tuna is handleable, as you can see from his photos, but he does have a big personality, and when he gets a bit overstimulated during play or handling, he'll let you know it's time for a break with a scratch or nip, so he'll do best with people who understand cat body language and know when to give him some space.

Since moving to a new, more suburban area with several other cats around, Tuna hasn't quite settled the way we'd hoped. We think he'd be much happier somewhere with a bit more room to roam, a lifestyle block or farm would suit him perfectly.

Because he can get a little nippy when he's overstimulated, a calm and quieter household would bring out the best in him. He loves being around people but doesn't need constant attention, so a home where he can pop in and out and choose his own level of involvement would be ideal. He's very well toilet trained

To cover a vet checkup and all the extras that will come with Tuna, there will be a $100 adoption fee
Ready to move to his new home now, and we're happy to drop him off if needed
Comes with a few of his favourite toys and cat gear to help him settle in
He should be kept indoors for the first 6 weeks to adjust.
