Snoopy has a slightly unusual story. She turned up at a property locally - she was microchipped and still registered to her original owner, however she had been rehomed some time ago and had gone missing from her new home. We contacted both parties involved, unfortunately neither were in a position to take her back, so Snoopy has found herself in rescue care.

Snoopy is a stunning long-haired girl with a gigantic fluffy coat and a personality just as big. She is approximately 2.5 years old, desexed and microchipped.

Now, let’s be honest about Snoopy.

She is incredibly affectionate and loves being around humans on her own terms. She’ll follow you around, hang out near you, and absolutely wants company. But she is also extremely clear about her boundaries and has very little tolerance for being handled when she doesn’t want to be. Snoopy can and will swipe or bite very suddenly if she becomes overstimulated or annoyed.

Because of this, Snoopy absolutely cannot go to a home with young children, she needs a calm, adult-only home with someone who understands and respects that she likes affection strictly on her own terms.

She is also not friendly towards other cats at all, so she will need to be an only cat. As far as we’re aware she hasn’t been around dogs, however given Snoopy’s general feelings about the world, we suspect a dog-free home would probably be best too.

Honestly, Snoopy is a bit of a sassy queen. If you want a cat that will tolerate being carried around like a baby, forgive absolutely everything, and dote on you endlessly, Snoopy is not your girl.

But if you want a stunning, hilarious, opinionated house tiger who wants to coexist beside you, look gorgeous while judging your life choices, and occasionally demand affection before immediately regretting it, Snoopy might just be perfect.
