Meet this beautiful calico lady, a sweet 10-year-old Domestic Short Hair looking for a loving forever home after sadly losing her owner and coming into the care of the New Zealand Cat Foundation.

She is an affectionate, people-focused girl who absolutely adores attention and cuddles. If you’re looking for a companion cat who wants to be close to her humans and enjoys a calm, loving environment, she could be the perfect match. She would especially suit someone who is home often and able to give her the companionship she craves.

This lovely girl has just one eye, which only adds to her charm, but it does mean she would be safest as an indoor-only cat or in a home where she can be kept inside at night and away from busy roads. A quiet rural or low-traffic location would be ideal.

She is currently overweight and on a special diet, and we would love her new family to continue supporting her weight-loss journey so she can her happiest, healthiest life.

She would prefer to be the only pet in the home, where she can enjoy all the love and attention to herself. A quiet household with older, cat-savvy children would suit her best.

She is microchipped, fully vaccinated, and ready to find a caring home where she can settle in and be cherished once again.
