Luna is an incredibly affectionate girl with a huge capacity for love. If you're looking for a cat who wants to be involved in your day and close to her people, Luna may be your perfect match.

Having come into the care of The NZ Cat Foundation, Luna has shown herself to be a confident, vocal, and loving companion. She adores human attention and will happily rub her face and entire body along her favourite people. She forms strong bonds and loves being near those she trusts, but is also friendly with new people and quick to introduce herself with a head bump and a rub against your legs.

Luna is a cat with a big personality and equally big feelings. She can become overstimulated quite quickly and may hiss or swat, even while enjoying attention. Her foster family has found that she does best when interactions happen on her terms and when her body language is respected.

Despite this, Luna is extremely affectionate and will often seek attention again moments later. She loves being close to her people and genuinely craves companionship, but needs a home that understands she can occasionally become overwhelmed.

She loves a quiet environment and enjoys having her own space when she needs it. She is particularly fond of her fluffy pink blanket and loves spending time perched on windowsills, watching the world go by.

Luna would be best suited to an adults-only home, and would prefer to be the only pet in the household.

Luna is looking for a patient, cat-savvy person who appreciates that some cats need a little extra understanding. In return, she will offer loyalty, companionship, and plenty of affection.

Luna is desexed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and is ready to find her forever home.
