Cody was passed to us as a tame stray, noone was looking for him and his coat hadn’t been cared for in awhile. Today he is a regal and fine coated Man in need of a castle.

Cody is an affectionate velcro kitty who takes “companion cat” to a whole new level. He’s the type of cat who doesn’t just in your home — he moves through it with you. Wherever you go, he’s not far behind, happily chatting away as if he’s keeping you updated on his very important day. Cody super vocal, full of personality, and always keen to be involved in whatever you’re doing. He’s still got plenty of playful energy and enjoys a good burst of fun, but what he really s for is affection. Pats are his absolute favourite, especially a gentle scratch under the chin — that’s Cody’s weak spot every time.

Cody isn’t a huge fan of being picked up. Sensible kids are fine and another chill adult cat could work.

He has had one unexplained pododermatitis event (swollen feet pads) when he was found, his bloods showed normal kidney and immune function. His feet are normal currently. Being indoor/catio contained will help rule out allergies from outdoors should it occur again. He has mild crossed eyes when he’s relaxed but this doesn’t impact his vision, it enhances his cuteness!

We are a registered charity run by volunteers in our spare time. Our animals are fostered in different foster homes across Auckland and we require you to meet the animal in their foster home before deciding to go ahead with adoption. We deal with adoption applications in writing and appreciate your patience when messaging about your interest.
