Cats Protection Canterbury - Hayley

The Cats Protection League is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens. You are welcome to visit our cattery where our experienced staff will introduce you to cats who will fit your lifestyle and be a pleasure to own. Cats are individuals so please do not be offended if we steer you towards cats other than the one that first caught your eye.

**Hayley : Shy and gentle**

Hayley is a sweet one year old who is still finding her feet and discovering that the cattery isn’t quite as scary as she first thought. A very timid little lady, she is taking her time to adjust to all the new sights, sounds and smells. Hayley is not the type of cat to rush over and introduce herself; she prefers to quietly observe from a safe spot while she works out what’s going on.

Behind that cautious exterior is a gentle girl who is beginning to trust people. We think she will really enjoy gentle pats once she feels comfortable. She will need someone patient who understands that friendship is something to be earned rather than assumed.

Hayley will suit a quiet adult home. She has not been around dogs before and could be okay around other cats with slow introductions.

All our cats have been vet checked, desexed, tested for feline aids and leukaemia, wormed, defleaed, microchipped and vaccinated. We will always take them back if it does not work out.
