Personality: Dylan arrived in our care very fearful of people. For the first couple of weeks, he needed to be wrapped securely and handled with gloves. Since then, he has made wonderful progress and now enjoys gentle attention. He loves being patted and especially enjoys a good butt scratch.

Ideal Home: Dylan is looking for a calm, understanding home with patient adopters who will give him time to settle in at his own pace. He may still hiss when meeting new people, but this quickly eases with the help of Churu treats and feather teaser toys. To help him feel safe, he should initially be kept in a smaller room with limited hiding spots. As his confidence grows, he can gradually be introduced to the rest of the home. Dylan would thrive in a home with another cat, as he adores them. He is used to a calm, cat-savvy dog and teenage children who are patient with him.
Please ensure all external doors and windows are kept shut for the first few months to prevent him from accidentally escaping.
