Ivy: A Lifetime of Love
Ivy: A Lifetime of Love
12 years old
PLEASE NOTE: Must go to an Auckland based home.
Beautiful Ivy is a gorgeous black and white Domestic Short Hair lady, approximately 12 years young, looking for a loving permanent foster home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by comfort, kindness, and companionship.
Having come into the care of The NZ Cat Foundation via Franklin Vets, Ivy's history before arriving with us is a little unclear. We believe she may have been surrendered or abandoned, but whatever her past, it has not dulled her loving nature.
Ivy is a friendly, confident girl who adores people and still enjoys a little playtime. One of her sweetest habits is making tiny biscuits with her paws when she's feeling happy and content. She loves being around her people and would thrive in a home where she can enjoy plenty of affection and attention.
As Ivy has entered her senior years, she has developed some arthritis and may need to remain on a specialised diet. Because of this, she is available as a permanent foster cat. The NZ Cat Foundation will continue to assist with approved veterinary care and dietary support, allowing her foster family to focus on giving her the love and comfort she deserves.
Ivy would likely be happiest as the only cat in the home, where she can soak up all the attention for herself. A quiet, caring environment would suit her perfectly.
Ivy is desexed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and is ready to find a loving permanent foster home.
As Ivy is a permanent foster cat, her foster family will need to be able to transport her to the sanctuary if veterinary assessments or check-ups are required.
