The Cats Protection League is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens. You are welcome to visit our cattery where our experienced staff will introduce you to cats who will fit your lifestyle and be a pleasure to own. Cats are individuals so please do not be offended if we steer you towards cats other than the one that first caught your eye.

**Seymour : In search of a patient friend**

Seymour is about 10 years old, a gentle soul who prefers to life at his own pace. When you first meet him he will likely be tucked away in one of his favourite hidey holes, quietly watching the world go by. New faces make him nervous but the secret to his heart is patience.

Give him a little time, let him decide when he is ready, and before long you will be rewarded with gentle head nudges, happy purrs and a cat who melts into every pat. Then his purr motor gets to work, rumbling away with contentment. A cosy hiding spot, a tasty meal and a kind human by his side are all he really asks for, but be warned, he has a pretty decent swipe when he is unhappy.

Seymour will suit a quiet home with no kids or other pets.

All our cats have been vet checked, desexed, tested for feline aids and leukaemia, wormed, defleaed, microchipped and vaccinated. We will always take them back if it does not work out.
