Cats Protection Canterbury - Marmaduke

The Cats Protection League is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens. You are welcome to visit our cattery where our experienced staff will introduce you to cats who will fit your lifestyle and be a pleasure to own. Cats are individuals so please do not be offended if we steer you towards cats other than the one that first caught your eye.

One of the cats available is MARMADUKE.

Handsome Marmaduke is about 14 years old. A sweet grandpa cat, he is looking for a warm and caring home for his twilight years. He has lots of love to give and will suit a mature household with no other pets.

Marmaduke was surrendered to CPL when his owner became very ill and had to go into care. He himself has a slight heart murmur but is otherwise in good health.

Adopting an older cat can be very rewarding and they make great companions. They are less likely to wander or get in trouble than youngsters. They are particularly suitable for owners who are less active and/or spend most of their time at home.

All our cats have been vet checked, desexed, tested for feline aids and leukaemia, wormed, defleaed, microchipped and vaccinated. We will always take them back if it does not work out.
