Hand raised baby monk parrots / quakers

Hand-raised baby monk parrots (also known as quaker parrots) available to good homes. They are currently 6 weeks old and being hand reared with regular handling and human interaction, and are already becoming confident, curious, and sociable. These blue babies will be ready to go to their new homes in a few weeks once they are fully weaned. All 4 have been reserved so there are none left currently available but the parents are laying another clutch of eggs so more will be available soon.

They will all be DNA sexed once they are older.

Monk parrots are intelligent, social parrots known for their strong bonding, playful personalities, and fantastic ability to learn words and tricks. They are good talkers and make affectionate and engaging pets.

These chicks are being raised inside and hand fed Kaytee Exact hand-rearing formula. They will suit homes looking for a companion bird rather than an aviary bird. Parrots are a long-term commitment and do best in homes that can provide time, enrichment, and interaction.

A $200 deposit is required to secure a baby. Pick up is in Lyall Bay otherwise I am happy to send by pet courier at buyer's cost.
