Winston is looking for his perfect forever home.

This incredibly hard to write. We love Winston with all our hearts, and this decision has been incredibly painful. Unfortunately, now that our baby is becoming mobile, Winston has become increasingly uncomfortable around him. After seeking advice and exhausting every option, we've made the heartbreaking decision that the safest and kindest thing for everyone is to find Winston a home where he can thrive.

Winston is a 5-year-old American Bulldog cross with so much love to give. He is incredibly affectionate, loves cuddles, and if you'll let him, he'll happily curl up on your lap despite his size!

A few things about Winston:
- He is completely deaf (experience with deaf dogs would be wonderful but isn't essential).
- Trained in recall using hand signals.
- Best suited as an only pet, or with an older, calm cat or a female dog who will happily give him his space.
- Due to being attacked by another dog a few years ago, he can be uncomfortable with overly enthusiastic dogs, so we generally keep him on lead.
- He has hip dysplasia, which is very well managed. He has regular physiotherapy check-ups (approximately every three months), and keeping him at a healthy weight is important to support his joints.
- Crate trained and comfortable being left in his crate for a few hours during the day while at work

Winston would be happiest in a home without young children, where he can soak up all the love and attention he deserves. He is a truly special boy, and we are in no rush—we are committed to finding the right home for him.

Winston will come with everything he needs to help him settle into his new home, including his crate, bedding, harness, lead etc.

We will be carefully screening potential adopters because this isn't about finding a home—it's about finding the right home.
