Two loving girls - Owner has terminal Cancer

Hello Trade me, I'm needing to find a fun loving home for our two most easy going, beautiful fluffy family members (together) Freya (Tan) and Raru (White) both aged 6/7.

Their story:
In October 2024 my beautiful Mum passed away from cancer, and as much as I wished I could have, I couldn't keep our family dog Freya due to needing to travel overseas for my Career. Thankfully our wonderful friend Paul took on Freya to with him and his special pooch Raru (freya’s best friend) and they have all been living the best life together. Unfortunately, this year Paul was diagnosed with lung cancer with a predicted 8-10 months to and this timeline may be shortening. I love both dogs like my own but am still not in the right stage of life to have them. We need to start organising a new home now, so that when Paul decides it's time, there's a home ready and excited to have them. This allows time for you and the dogs to get to know each other first so it's an easy transition for everyone. I will be looking after the girls for Paul until the right home is found. They have been so loved by their village so its daunting finding them a new family, but I know there will be some amazing special humans out there that can love them like we do.

About these girls:
- Freya - Whippet x Blackmouth curr
- Raru - Staffy x
- Both desexed
- Great with dogs of all sizes.
- Great with kids/babies/elderly.
- Most easy going, affectionate, playful duo.
- Entertain each other but also loooove snuggles and play time with their humans.
- Super fit, have both run half marathons! (Raru gets the odd sore back leg now after having acl surgery though. Just something to be mindful of)
- Great with bikes
- Water dogs, love the river and chasing sticks.
- Play rough together (Won't ever hurt each other)
- They get excited over neighbourhood cats but cats in the same home should be fine.
- Super obedient and eager to please.
- Be cautious of sheep around Freya

Paul will cover your first year of insurance.
