Trixie is a 2.5yr old whippet cross & a gentle soul with lots of love to give. She is looking for a patient, understanding home where she can continue to build her confidence & trust in the world.

Trixie can be a bit wary of strangers at first, but once she bonds with you she’s a total sweetheart who loves being her human's shadow.

Trixie enjoys car rides & absolutely loves her walks & runs. She’ll make a great companion for someone with an active lifestyle.

Trixie's been around cats & could with one but slow supervised introductions will be key to ensuring everyone is comfortable.

Trixie is best suited to a home with older children & experienced owners who are committed to continuing her training & socialisation, especially when it comes to meeting new people & dogs.

With time, patience & love, Trixie will blossom into the loyal, affectionate companion she yearns to be.
If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive dog to share everything from big adventures to quiet moments, Trixie might just be your perfect match!

We expect to see Trixie go to a home where she is an inside dog & a big part of the family going on adventures together & getting regular exercise, stimulation, & of course lots of love!

In order to adopt Trixie you will need a secure section with good fencing & either own your own home or have permission from your landlord allowing you to have a dog in your home.

Adoption fee includes desexing (already done), current vaccinations, chipping, registration on NZCAR, & registration with local council.
