Rocky is a 1 year old Staffy cross Boxer who has come into our care following a private surrender from a loving home. He has been cared for, and this has not been an easy decision for his previous family.

Rocky has previously d with a female dog and done well. Since arriving at Dogwatch, he has mixed nicely with the girls and shows lovely social skills. We are continuing to assess his suitability with male dogs to ensure the right match. Any existing dog in the home would need to be introduced thoughtfully.

He would suit a home with dog savvy teenagers who understand how to interact respectfully and confidently with dogs. He is still to be cat tested.

Rocky can be a little unsure of the world at times, which we feel is largely related to shelter stress and the recent change in his environment. In a calm, stable home with routine and reassurance, we believe he will truly come into his own.
