Rocket is a sweet, social and loving boy who absolutely adores people, including children. He is incredibly friendly with other dogs, both male and female, and could happily alongside a confident cat.

Rocket does experience separation anxiety and is looking for a home with someone patient, committed and understanding who can provide him with plenty of companionship during the day while helping him continue to build confidence being left alone. Due to his past and having been moved between several homes, his anxiety around being left alone has become more heightened, so he will need a calm, secure and predictable environment where he can finally settle and feel safe.

Rocket tends to cope much better with time alone when he has another suitable dog around him — ideally a calm, confident and secure dog who is comfortable being left alone and can help provide reassurance through their presence. He will thrive with an owner willing to work alongside our behaviour team to gradually build his independence in a positive and supportive way.

Rocket is a deeply affectionate boy who just wants to feel safe, included and loved, and in the right home he will make an incredibly loyal and devoted companion.
