It breaks my heart to write this, but we’re looking for a loving, committed home for our dog, Poppy. She’s a 7 year old Staffy x Huntaway female - desexed, microchipped, and in excellent health. Poppy has been a loyal and much loved part of our family, but with a new baby and changing demands at home, we can no longer give her the time and attention she deserves.

Poppy is an intelligent, affectionate dog. She’s great with kids and has grown up on the farm around sheep and goats, always gentle and well-behaved with stock. She has a calm temperament, is easy to have around, and loves to be involved in daily life. Whether it’s following you around the paddock, lounging nearby, or heading out for a walk, she just wants to be close and connected. She’s active and alert but also loves to cuddle up on the couch. While she’s no longer a puppy, she’s fit, healthy, and has many good years ahead.

This isn’t an easy decision, and we’re only looking for a home where she’ll be truly valued and well cared for. Poppy deserves a place where she can be part of the family and continue to a happy, meaningful life.
