huntaway pups
5 years old
9 bundles of fluff with legs and head and tail, generally known as puppies. These blokes and shelas are the result of a mating by my two workers, a long haired huntaway bloke (yeah, thats kinda different in itself) and a short haired huntaway bitch which acts more like an eye dog.
The bloke parent is working well and the mum is still pretty young and hasn't had that much work but has more balls than the bloke (I guess she wears the pants in the relationship). She has run with the bloke out on farm and is getting the idea, not afraid of a cow that tries to stand them up (see, ballsy) and as a pair they are able to do most of what I need them to but honestly she does need more effort put into her to get her going to her potential.
Back to the bundles, there are 6 shelas and 3 blokes and I'm probably going to keep a bloke. Roughly 6 weeks old now, have come out from under the hay baler and are running around chewing on pretty much anything they can get their mitts on. All healthy as, fat little buggas and eating me out of house and home. Would like to shift them before I go broke.
I'd probably give them a week or so before rehoming, I dunno, just beacuse.
Any Q's hit the question button. Cheers.
UPDATE
Pups ready to go now (probably three weeks ago) . Have been weaned off mum and are chasing the stock in the paddock next door so keen to work.
*ANOTHER UPDATE
Little shits are getting into everything at the moment, I don't have chains for them all and lacking a pen also. Would like to trim the numbers down somewhat.
