Nixon is a 2.7 year old American Bulldog cross Staffy who has come to us from the Christchurch City Council pound.

This lovely, ly boy is an absolute cuddle bug. He is still new to Dogwatch and finding his feet, but we are already seeing the sweet, affectionate nature that sits at his core. Once he feels comfortable, he leans right in for love and connection.

Nixon can be a little unsure when meeting new people, but it does not take much to win him over. A few treats, a gentle approach, and he is soon soft and seeking affection.

He has not yet been mixed with other dogs at Dogwatch. His intake notes report that he has previously been good with female dogs, and we will be carrying out further assessments in due course. He is also still to be cat and child tested so we can better understand what home will suit him best.

For now, we are enjoying getting to know this handsome boy as he settles in. If you are looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and an even bigger cuddle, Nixon may just be your match.
