Hi I'm Jet and I'm looking for a forever home. My fosterers collected me and my sister from the Gisborne area to provide us with a better chance of homing and avoiding the East Coast parvo pandemic.

Unfortunately we were already infected and my sister crossed the rainbow bridge 3 days after our arrival to the Hawke's Bay. My foster family took every measure to ensure my survival. After vet trips, specialised food, treatments, and a long isolation period I was able to join the family dogs.

I'm now 18 months old, healthy, and waiting for the next chapter of my journey.

Jet is a female mixed breed farm/pig dog. She is desexed, house trained, microchipped, registered, and fully vaccinated. We never planned on keeping Jet. But after investing so much emotion and money into her we tried to be her forever home. And despite how much it hurts to let her go, she deserves more than what we can offer her.

Jet is an athletic dog who loves to sprint, jump, and play in the water. She is highly intelligent and curious with a cheeky personality. Responds well to treat training and learns quickly.

Being young and exuberant her training needs continuation, Due to the long isolation period as a pup she can be wary of new people and situations. Once comfortable she is a confident dog.

Jet would flourish with an active person who wants that special connection. Jet would not do well in a household with an aggressive dog, she will stand her ground. She is not cat trained and comes from a home with teenagers.

We want a good home for Jet, not just any home.
