Millie is a gorgeous crossbreed with so much love to give. She was born around the beginning of March and was abandoned at the end of April. We adopted her when she was approximately 10 weeks old, and she has been a much-loved part of our family ever since.

She has had all of her puppy vaccinations and is due another shot. She has been desexed, microchipped and is registered.

Millie is incredibly affectionate, loves cuddles, and enjoys being close to her people. She has a playful, goofy personality—one of her favourite things is playing with empty toilet rolls and paper bags! She also loves a good game of tug-of-war.

Millie is energetic, intelligent, and eager to learn. She knows all the basic commands, including sit, lie down, shake, stay, come, and "on your bed." She will wait to eat until she's given the command. She travels well in the car and is fully toilet trained. At night, she happily sleeps in her crate without issues.

Millie's needs:

• She may be suitable to with a desexed male dog, pending a successful meet and greet.

• She is not suitable for a home with another female dog. Millie currently s with our elderly female dog and after developing aggression towards her, we've made the decision to find Millie a new home.

• She is not suitable for a family with young children. She has grown up with and loves our 10 and 12 year old children, but she can be protective around her food bowl and bed with young ones.

Finding the right home is far more important to us than finding a home quickly. Any adoption will need to be approved by Paws Awhile Animal Sanctuary, and the new owners will need to be happy to sign an adoption contract.
