Loving 7yo Female Labrador - Requires Adult Only Home

It is with a completely broken heart that we are looking to rehome our beautiful 7-year-old black Labrador, Daisy.

We have recently brought our newborn baby home, and unfortunately, Daisy has shown a very high prey drive and fixation toward the baby. Because of this instinctual behavior, we cannot safely keep her in our home.

Daisy is a deeply loving and affectionate dog who absolutely loves to play. She is smart and has had puppy training. She knows various tricks and has excellent food impulse control (she will patiently wait for the "OK" command before eating). She thrives on clear boundaries and respects strong leadership. She is a wonderful, loyal companion for adults who can provide her with structure and affection. Daisy fully meets the animal welfare code; she is a 7-year-old adult female dog in good health, and is up to date with her treatments, vaccinations, and care.

We want to be completely honest about Daisy's behavioral needs so she goes to the right environment. Alongside her prey drive, she struggles with high anxiety:

She becomes anxious and will bark when she sees you leaving the house without her. She is also vocal and will bark at noises outside or when she sees other dogs.

She does not return on command. She cannot be let off-lead in unfenced areas.

As mentioned, she has a strong compulsion to chase small creatures, which is why she cannot be around babies, small children, cats, or birds.
