Dave is a clever, active boy looking for a home that will appreciate both his brains and his big personality. He's come to us through a private surrender situation, and has a good crowd of people around him wanting to help him find his forever home.

This handsome Border Collie cross loves his people and thrives when he's included in family life. Whether he's carrying around a favourite toy, working on a food puzzle, or proudly herding his basketball around the yard, Dave always finds a way to keep himself entertained.

Dave is incredibly smart and knows an impressive range of commands and tricks. He enjoys training, enrichment, and spending quality time with his humans. He settles well at home, can be left for reasonable periods, and is happiest when he has a good balance of exercise and relaxation.

Dave is looking for an experienced home that can support him with his lead reactivity and occasional resource guarding. He would suit an adult home or one with older, dog savvy children who can respect his space and understand his boundaries. His ideal home would be pet free, so he can soak up all the love.

He also has some manageable arthritis and environmental allergies, which are well controlled with routine care and sensible exercise, and diet.
