Adorable pup who loves to fetch and wants to be your buddy

Alex is a approx 10m old pup who was found abandoned at a dog park.

He is great at fetch, loves to run, and your typical energetic and needing to be close to people Staffy.

We have fostered Alex for 3 mos and tried to integrate him into our home but unfortunately we cannot me his needs.

Alex needs to be in a home without small animals as he has a strong prey drive. He would do best as an only dog or with a same breed dog who can handle his energy and playfulness.. He is good with children but ideally older, more robust children as he doesn't know his own strength and he has some resource guarding behaviours especially around food.

Alex needs a home where he can be close to his humans all the time. He does not do well unsupervised indoors as he longs to be close to people and needs closeness to self soothe. Alex enjoys being outside with you and manages well in a kennel my himself when this is necessary.

Alex is very food motivated which makes him responsive and very interested in training and means that if you happen to leave any food items within his reach - he will find them.

Alex has been desexed and is fully vaccinated and microchipped. He can come with some basic care items such as a lead, bed, and any toys he has not eaten yet.

You must be able to demonstrate a loving and caring home that is responsive to the needs of his breed and can support his needs to continue to be his best doggy self.
