?? Meet Ace! ??

Ace has been with us settling into life at Dogwatch after arriving from the Christchurch City Council Pound, and we’re slowly getting to know this sweet boy ?? Already, he’s shown us a gentle nature and his personality is starting to shine through.

At around 4 years old and 22kg, Ace is a lovely medium-sized lad who’s rocking a very charming “let’s play” look ?? He’s been social with female dogs so far, with more mixing to come as we learn more about his preferences.

Ace has shown us he is a curious and adventurous boy, and will require a home with secure fencing and/or appropriate management to prevent him from attempting to jump fences.

He has also shown a bit of prey drive towards wildlife, so would be best suited to a home where he can be kept on lead around wildlife areas or exercised in safe, secure spaces away from birds and animals. The positive is that Ace redirects easily and responds well to guidance from people.
