Wiri - Looking for a Very Special Forever Home
Wiri is a beautiful 4-year-old Tonkinese boy with the sweetest nature. He absolutely adores people, loves cuddles, enjoys sleeping in bed with his humans, and is wonderful with children. He has never shown aggression and is an incredibly loving, affectionate cat.

However, Wiri is not a cat who will suit every home.

We are looking for someone with a good understanding of cats, particularly Oriental breeds.
What Wiri Needs

• A home with permanent, access to the outdoors.
• Someone who understands cat behaviour
• A patient and understanding owner who will allow him time to settle.
• Preferably a home with no other animals.

Wiri is currently living primarily indoors due to circumstances beyond our control, and he has struggled with this lifestyle.

He gains most of his stimulation from being outdoors and has a very strong desire to explore. Without outdoor access, he will vocalise frequently and spend a lot of time pacing and trying to find a way outside.

To help keep him comfortable while he remains indoors, he is currently prescribed medication by his veterinarian. This medication does not need to be given every day and is only used when required. It has been helpful in keeping him relaxed during this period and may also assist with the transition into his new home if Wiri

We are committed to finding the right home for him and will not be rushing this process. Due to a previous traumatic experience where Wiri was rehomed and later returned, we will not be allowing him to leave on a first visit. We want to ensure both Wiri and his future family are the right fit for one another.
