Meet Sterling

Some cats wear their hearts on their sleeves. Sterling wears his quietly.

This handsome 2 year old grey boy spent the past few weeks hanging around a local school, hoping someone would notice him. While many of the children were kind and gave him plenty of love and attention, sadly not everyone treated him with the kindness he deserved. The school reached out to us to help find him the safe, loving home every cat should have.

Despite whatever he's been through, Sterling is a beautiful, gentle boy. He loves pats, enjoys stretching out in a sunny spot, and is happiest simply being close to his people.

He can be a little cautious if you reach straight over the top of his head. We don't know what happened in his past, but we suspect there's a reason. Give him a little patience and understanding, and you'll quickly see his confidence grow.

Sterling is easy to handle, happy to be picked up when needed, and walks calmly into a carry cage. He gets along well with other cats, but dogs are definitely not his thing, so he's looking for a dog free home.

Sterling is in foster care in Waiuku and is ready to be adopted now.

He is desexed, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and litter trained.
