Atlas was found by a member of public in South Auckland struggling to survive. It was clear by his massively ulcerated eye he was in big trouble but we had hope due to his purring and big appetite.

Kittens adapt incredibly well to blindness and Atlas is no exception! Mr confident loves to play, eat and cuddle just like any other kitten. He adores other cats and will rely on them to navigate and feel safe, alongside people. Just a few words of baby talk has him purring and screeching for pats and attention. Atlas sur*****es anyone who meets him with how mobile and savvy he is and makes friends quickly.

He needs to be in an indoor only home, no cat towers etc. are best as he is a silly kitten and will get himself stuck or fall. Sensible kids and cat friendly dogs are fine. Another friendly cat for him would be ideal. Atlas is small and will likely never be a big cat due to early malnutrition. FPS will provide his new owner with advice on blind kitties.

Our animals are fostered in different foster homes across Auckland and we require you to meet the animal in their foster home before deciding to go ahead with adoption.
