Max and Scout are a devoted mother-and-son pair looking for a forever home where they can stay together.

Scout has been an exceptional mum to her four kittens, always keeping a watchful eye on them and making sure they were safe and cared for. Even now that her babies are older, she still likes to know where they are and gently checks in on them.

Affectionately known as "Scouty" in foster care, Scout is a smoochy, people-focused girl who loves attention and companionship. She enjoys sitting beside her humans for pats and chats, often weaving figure eights around your legs at dinner time or standing on her back legs to meet your hand for a scratch.

Max is very much a mumma's boy. A little shy initially, he prefers to take things at his own pace and often hangs back to observe before joining in. Once comfortable, he becomes a sweet, affectionate companion who loves being talked to, enjoys gentle pats, and happily kneads away when being stroked.

Both Max and Scout are vocal, affectionate, food motivated, and enjoy the company of their people. They can startle easily, so a quiet, patient home where they can settle in at their own pace would suit them best.

Because they are being adopted together, Max and Scout are looking for an adult-only home. Both have shown they can be okay around dogs.

More than anything, these two love having each other. Their bond is unmistakable, and we would love to see them find a home where they can continue life side by side.

Max and Scout are desexed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and are ready to find their forever family together.
