We have a stunning retired breeding female looking for a new home. She has an exceptional temperament, she is very outgoing and affectionate. She gets along with our other cats, however a slow introduction will be required if you have other pets. We are looking for a suitable STRICTLY INDOOR home for her. Access to a shaded catio or proper enclosure with roof would be great as our cats like to play in our outdoor enclosure when UV rays are low. She gets along well with other cats, but keep in mind that this is an active, dominant breed.

Turkish Angora are a fascinating ancient natural breed originating in Turkey. One of the most elegant breeds, and incredibly beautiful, the Turkish Angora are also very intelligent, athletic, mischievous and extremely affectionate. Even though they are one of the oldest breeds, they are considered a rare breed.

We proudly work with lines from the original Turkish breeding program in Ankara Zoo. We brought the breed to New Zealand in 2008 and we are the only registered breeders of Turkish Angora in New Zealand. We are happy to provide references. Please be aware of scammers.

We like to see our cats in a safe indoor home, with access to a catio or you can walk them on a lead. White cats are prone to skin cancer so care has to be taken to avoid harsh NZ sun when UV rays are strong.

Price includes desexing, vaccinations, microchip, registration with TICA and/or NZCF and a comprehensive DNA test from MyCatDNA (Wisdom Health). All of our breeding cats are DNA tested for diseases and none carry any genetic diseases as far as we are aware of. The Turkish Angora are a healthy breed and we import from overseas to ensure our cats have high genetic diversity. As we are the only TA breeders in Australasia at the moment, we import new lines regularly to ensure good health of the breed.
