It’s with a heavy heart that we’re looking for a new home for Leo, our 1.5-year-old Burmese x Ragdoll. He has striking blue eyes, silky medium-length fur with beautiful spotting, and a more oriental look than Ragdoll.

Leo has been with us since he was a kitten and is a sweet, sensitive boy. He can be a little reserved with new people but once he knows you, he loves to flop at your feet for belly rubs or snuggle beside you on the couch. He enjoys brushing, loves being outdoors (hangs around the property lots), is used to children, can be picked up and comes home when called in the evening. He seeks closeness but doesn’t sit on your lap.

Unfortunately, Leo has a compulsive chewing behaviour (Pica), which means he will chew and damage items made from natural animal fibres such as wool, merino, cashmere, alpaca, and possum. This has been ongoing since kittenhood and hasn’t improved with time. Because of this, we’re no longer able to manage it in our family.

We’re looking for a home that:
* Can manage or avoid having these types of materials accessible
* Offers safe outdoor access (away from busy roads)
* Ideally has another cat companion
* Is open to feeding a raw diet (preferred, but not essential)
