Fluffy was rescued from Waterview, where a man was physically abusing her.

Fluffy is a sweet girl deep down. Fluffy had a start in life that most people can not even imagine, and because of this, she has become extremely wary of humans.

Fluffy came to her fosterer around May, in a dishevelled, scared and panicked state. For the first month of Fluffy’s foster life, she could only sit in a corner, staring out with dinner plate eyes. However, after several months of patience and treats, Fluffy reached a point where her fosterer could gently pat and sit close to her with their head resting next to Fluffy’s.

She Is still wary of all the new things. Fluffy enjoys quiet time with her fosterer, reading aloud in a gentle voice. Gaining Fluffy’s trust is not a one-week thing. Fluffy needs to know that you are a safe, loving person to be around; most of all, she needs to know that you will not abuse her, and when she is ready, she will come to you. Fluffy is not aggressive and has never hissed or swatted at her fosterer.

Fluffy would best suit someone who does not have kids below 16, dogs, a home with loud noises (music, instruments, parties), or a home with frequent guests. It would benefit her development if there were another gentle, calm, quiet adult cat.
