Possum was surrendered to FPS when his owner wasn’t able to care for him anymore. While very pretty, Possum has proved to be a bit finicky!

He is a boss cat, knows exactly what he wants and is happy to be part of the family as long as he can get what he wants when he wants! Possum loves pats and being told he is beautiful and bum scratches. He tolerates being picked up but does think it’s undignified. Possum luckily likes being brushed, which is essential.

Possum must be on a gastro diet, we recommend RC. He is fine with sensible kids and could adjust to a chill and cat friendly dog. His diet is key so he needs to be contained indoors or in a catio to ensure no contamination.

We are a registered charity run by volunteers in our spare time. Our animals are fostered in different foster homes across Auckland and we require you to meet the animal in their foster home before deciding to go ahead with adoption. We deal with adoption applications in writing and appreciate your patience when messaging about your interest.
