Penny was adopted out by FPS over 2 years ago. Her owner contacted us to say she was hurting her baby and didn’t like children. We asked if perhaps she could keep her infant away from Penny? That wasn’t possible. We were then told a different story about how she’s good with her toddler and scared of the baby but would force herself inbetween the baby and her owner to get attention. Sounds scared and scary.

Penny is apparently a huge danger to babies and the owner wasn’t willing to try our suggestions including having Penny not in the same room as the baby and not putting them side by side with temptations next to the baby for social media photos.

Penny’s old fosterer at 38 weeks pregnant happily took her back, despite reported risks to infants she held. The fosterer reports Penny is a smoochy, attention seeking madam!* Penny loves scratches and pats so much she drools. She is chatty and knows how to communicate her needs. Pen has a mighty headbutt and loves to give kisses, her favourite place is next to her humans or in a beam of sun. There have been no reported baby killings in the foster household.

Penny would be fine with sensible kids and a calm, cat friendly dog. She gets grumpy with other cats but a calm, older cat would be okay. Bring your baby near Penny at your own risk, we will update this post should the baby present in the foster household suffer radical injury.
