Personality: Orla (golden princess) was rescued from a school where she had been living with her mum and sister. Initially very wary of people, it only took a few days for her to discover how much she enjoys affection. Now, Orla is a loving girl who actively seeks out attention, rubbing against her favourite people for pats and often leaving them covered in happy dribbles.
While Orla is affectionate and social once she feels safe, she can be a little nervous in new environments or around unfamiliar people. When feeling unsure, she may grumble or hiss, but she is never aggressive. A few Temptations or Bonkers treats are usually all it takes to win her over and help her settle in. Orla can occasionally become a little overstimulated when enjoying pats and may give a gentle love nibble. If this happens, simply giving her a short break allows her to calm down and return to her sweet, affectionate self.
She absolutely adores snuggling with her sister Olivia. Orla does best with gentle, non-dominant cats and would not be suited to living with more assertive cats.

Ideal Home: She has been fostered in a home with teenagers, cats and a calm dog. We recommend keeping Orla in a smaller room at first with fewer places to hide. Once she settles in introduce her to the rest of the house.
Orla will need to be kept inside for at least 3 months while she settles in. Please ensure all external doors and windows are kept shut during this time to ensure she doesn't accidentally escape.
