Personality: Dahlia gave birth to 5 beautiful babies at the end of last year. They have all gone to homes and now it's her turn to find happiness! Dahlia has a quirky personality. She can be super affectionate and will want ALL the pats, but she will occasionally end the session with a not so subtle, I'm done with you hiss. She has never lashed out, but seems to have clear boundaries around her tolerance for patting. She loves a good head scratch, but seems to do this when she gets pats down her back. She likes them, just in small doses. She occasionally likes to hide under furniture. I think this will stop when she's allowed freedom around her forever home and is settled. Also, when she is allowed outdoor access after a month or two. She loves her food and will do anything for Temptations treats. She still has some kitten energy and shows this during her evening zoomies. She's been so much fun to foster and is great company! She loves other cats and the 2 small dogs in her foster home!

Ideal Home: Dahlia's new humans will need to be calm and patient with her while she settles and finds herself in her new environment. Children are not recommended, as she won't cope with the noise and busyness. A young single person or couple who are OK with boundaries would be the best fit. Slow introduction to different areas of the house is recommended and LOTS of time with her new humans. The more effort that's put in at the beginning, the quicker she will settle in.
