Kiki arrived in the care of The NZ Cat Foundation after the heartbreaking loss of her entire litter. Around the same time, tiny newborn Beanie came into our care after being rejected by his mother just hours after birth. With our veterinary team carefully overseeing their introduction, something truly special happened. The moment Kiki met Beanie, she accepted him as her own. From that day on, they've been completely inseparable.
Kiki has been the devoted mum Beanie desperately needed, showering him with love, teaching him how to be a cat, and always making sure he's close by. In return, Beanie absolutely adores his mum, and the bond they share is nothing short of beautiful. They rely on one another for comfort, confidence, and companionship, so they are looking for a home where they can stay together forever.
Kiki is an affectionate, cheerful girl who loves people just as much as she loves food! She's always ready for a cuddle, enjoys playing with Beanie, and has a gentle, loving nature that makes her a joy to have around.
Beanie is everything you'd expect from a young kitten—playful, curious, incredibly intelligent, and full of energy. He loves exploring the world before racing back to Kiki for reassurance, a cuddle, or another game together.
These two would suit a busy family and are happy around children of all ages. Their playful antics and loving relationship are guaranteed to bring endless smiles to their new home.
