**11/01/26 UPDATE: Graham the Groomer donated a spa day to Joshua & told us the following as soon as he saw him:-
*Joshua is part Burmese
*His colouring is Seal (Brown/Black)**

This guy hasn't got a mean bone in his body - and given his background (what little we know about it) he soooo should have!

He's a lover not a fighter, will move in on you and place a gentle paw on your leg or curl up into you and have a snooze. He's a lap cat, a fast and furious player, a super gentle boy who is good with adults, other cats and children alike.

Joshua (or Josh to his nearest and dearest) was transferred to us when his rescuer closed their fostering facility. Before he came however, he had all but his canines extracted and the vision in his left eye was checked. This was because this eye had - and still has, a small opaque spot in it - likely from a previous injury. The good news is that it doesn't affect his vision, and we can attest to that as he is one of the fastest moving soccer players we have ever met!! No ping pong ball is safe around him and we regularly hear the balls being bounced off walls and him thundering down the hallway!

So although we don't know much about where he came from or how he was treated before he was rescued, having bad teeth and a damaged eye tells us that he has had a tough life and we want to change that from here on in.

He has flourished in our Rescue Cattery although he will still bolt for his room and hide under his blankie if he gets a fright or a new person with a loud voice arrives. Loud noises startle him but even when scared, he is endlessly forgiving and never uses his teeth or claws - as the vet found out last week when he went for his health check.

Josh is desexed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, defleaed and wormed so he is ready to choose a new family. We'll help him with that and if you are interested in meeting him or having a chat about him, contact his Honorary Aunty Helen 0274 070 659 or ****
