Grace
Grace
12 months old
Introducing a very special girl, Grace.
Grace hasn’t had an easy life. She was abandoned by her owners and left to fend for herself while skinny, cold, scared, and trying to raise and feed her three tiny kittens alone. Thankfully, a kind neighbour noticed her struggle, made sure she was fed, and helped organise her rescue into our care.
As a small kitten, Grace suffered a ruptured eye and d for a long time with a painful, decaying cavity where her eye should have been. Living with chronic pain, limited eyesight, and the responsibility of protecting her babies was a lot for one little soul. We feel because of how vulnerable she was for so long, Grace is not comfortable with other cats. She would need to be an only cat. This darling has done her time protecting others and now deserves peace. Due to her missing eye, she would also need to as an indoor-only cat so she can feel safe and secure.
Grace truly shines in her love for people. She is the sweetest little companion, gentle, purry, and soft in everything she does. She flutters around her humans, gives the most beautiful tail hugs, and loves being close, whether that’s quietly nearby or soaking up affection. Grace doesn’t ask for much, just reassurance, kindness, and someone to love her back. She really is a wonderful, loyal little soul.
Grace has been desexed, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and has fully recovered from her eye surgery. She is approximately 12 months old and truly ready to begin her happily ever after in a calm, loving home where she will never feel scared, lonely, or abandoned again.
Grace is in foster in Waiuku. If you think you could offer her the safe, quiet life she deserves, please send us a message telling us about your home, your family, and the life you could offer her.
This beautiful girl has endured so much and still chooses love. We would love to see Grace finally get the happy ending.
