Charlie and Velvet need a new home

Charlie is a beautiful grey tabby tom, has been neutered, vaccinated & regularly vet checked. He is c. 10 years old and a very easy going boy. He is affectionate and keeps me company when I out in the garden but he does not particularly like being picked up. He does love a good cuddle though.

Velvet is a black female, c. 4 years old, has been speyed. She had a rough start in life as a rescue kitten and is quite shy, but she is very smoochy once she gets used to you and will love you for giving her regular food. She is an excellent mouser and also catches rats.

Currently they have an indoor/outdoor lifestyle where they can come into the house and sleep on my bed if they want (they do, when the weather is cold and miserable) but they mostly look after themselves and often sleep in my shed. They would work as barn cats as long as they get regular feeds and appropriate vet care.

Prefer to rehome them together as they are good buddies, but will consider rehoming individually. In this case, Charlie should go to a home where he can hang out inside the house.
