Fauna is from a property in Waterview we sorted early last year. She is Fluffy’s Mum and also not been treated right prior to coming into care. Please only enquire if you have experience with timid cats.

Fauna is a pretty girl but she is not a cuddly lap cat, and she may never be one, however she accept pats from her foster mama and with time and patience, in the right environment, Fauna could be amazing. She is not a "give her a couple of weeks to settle and she'll be fine" cat - her new owner will need to be prepared for her to take some time. Once settled, Fauna does have bursts of play time. She loves her high cat tree where she can survey her surroundings.

Fauna loves other cats so another friendly and nice cat in the household would be ideal. No kids as they will frighten her. Indoor only due to her eyesight.

We are a registered charity run by volunteers in our spare time. Our animals are fostered in different foster homes across Auckland and we require you to meet the animal in their foster home before deciding to go ahead with adoption. We deal with adoption applications in writing and appreciate your patience when messaging about your interest.
