Cats Protection Canterbury - Smokey

The Cats Protection League is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens. You are welcome to visit our cattery where our experienced staff will introduce you to cats who will fit your lifestyle and be a pleasure to own. Cats are individuals so please do not be offended if we steer you towards cats other than the one that first caught your eye.

One of the cats available is SMOKEY.

Sweet Smokey is about 4 years old. Friendly and affectionate, she likes to keep herself busy and enjoys cuddles once she has worn herself out. She has previously been okay with children and would make a lovely family pet.

Smokey was surrendered to CPL because she was not coping in her home. She was sharing the household with a dominant male cat and kept running away from him. She had previously d happily with another female cat, but may at this point prefer to be a single kitty.

Smokey has a grade 2 (mild) heart murmur, which is not currently causing any issues.

All our cats have been vet checked, desexed, tested for feline aids and leukaemia, wormed, defleaed, microchipped and vaccinated. We will always take them back if it does not work out.
