Cats Protection Canterbury - Petrel and Tui

The Cats Protection League is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens. You are welcome to visit our cattery where our experienced staff will introduce you to cats who will fit your lifestyle and be a pleasure to own. Cats are individuals so please do not be offended if we steer you towards cats other than the one that first caught your eye.

Among the cats available are PETREL & TUI (adoption fee is for both).

Petrel (tabby) and Tui (black) are about 4 years old. They are both very shy and may take a while to come out of their shells in a new home. Petrel is the more confident and will blossom into a cuddly lap cat once settled. She helps to comfort her timid sister Tui, who is spending much of her time hiding but can usually be bribed with treats.

Petrel and Tui came into CPL care because they were not coping in their family home. They will suit a quiet household where they are the only pets and, as they are very closely bonded, we would like them to be adopted as a pair.

All our cats have been vet checked, desexed, tested for feline aids and leukaemia, wormed, defleaed, microchipped and vaccinated. We will always take them back if it does not work out.
