The Cats Protection League is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens. You are welcome to visit our cattery where our experienced staff will introduce you to cats who will fit your lifestyle and be a pleasure to own. Cats are individuals so please do not be offended if we steer you towards cats other than the one that first caught your eye.

One of the cats available is CAPTAIN.

Handsome Captain is about 8 years old. Wary with strangers, he quickly warms into the sweetest and smoochiest of boys. He loves gentle attention - chin scritches and tummy rubs - and also enjoys spending time outdoors. He would suit most households and should be okay with another cat if introduced carefully.

Captain was left behind when his owner moved and was surrendered by a kind neighbour. He has had radioactive treatment for hyperthyroidism while in our care and is eligible for assistance under our Saving Lives scheme - please discuss this with our rehoming staff.

All our cats have been vet checked, desexed, tested for feline aids and leukaemia, wormed, defleaed, microchipped and vaccinated. We will always take them back if it does not work out.
