Barney is a playful, chatty boy with a big personality and a whole lot of charm.

He’s full of energy and curiosity, and he loves keeping himself busy with play, exploring, and generally finding something fun to do. At the same time, he’s very social and enjoys being involved in whatever’s happening around him.

Barney is quite the little chatterbox and isn’t shy about letting you know what he thinks. Whether he’s greeting you, asking for attention, or commenting on the day, he always has something to say.

Underneath all that playful energy, Barney also has a sweet, cuddly side. Once he’s had a good play session, he’s more than happy to settle in for pats and affection, soaking up attention and relaxing into a quieter moment.

He would suit a home that can give him both stimulation and companionship, and he’d likely enjoy having another cat friend to keep him entertained. His absolute best friend is Baloo, and the two are often found together playing, grooming each other, or curled up in a heap. They bring out the best in each other and would love the chance to be adopted together.

Barney is a wonderful mix of playful chaos and affectionate moments, with plenty of personality packed into one small cat.

Every kitten adopted from Animal Care Turangi is desexed, has received at least the first core series vaccine ($225) or two core series vaccines ($299), has been NZCAR registered microchipped, receives regular flea & worm treatment, and is vet checked. Kittens 6+ months and adults $160.
