Mackie (aka Mr Wrinkles) is a friendly, clever 4 month old (staffy mix) who loves people.

Good with cats: untested
Good with dogs: Yes
Good with children under 10: Yes
Good with children over 10: Yes
Needs fencing at least: 1.5m high
Can be left alone during work hours: For short periods (he will happily go in his crate) and is good in his foster family's yard.

Mackie (Mr Wrinkles) is a sweet, cuddly, snuggly wee man who adores people (new and old) and loves nothing more than a nap on the couch with his humans. He will follow you around the house/garden and just wants to be with you. He will happily play tug of war for as long as you can be bothered.

He has pretty good recall already for a young pup and is also pretty good on the lead.

He is smart and loves his food and is easy to train because of that. He is not high energy and is quite calm for his age, but he is still a puppy.

He is great with other dogs and loves to meet new doggo friends. His play can be a bit rough for much smaller dogs initially, but he is clever enough to adjust his play if you give him some guidance.

While he loves other dogs, he would be equally happy as the only dog/pet in a home, as he loves his humans most of all.

Ellie’s Canine Rescue are based in the Greater Wellington region, depending on the dog we do adopt out of the Wellington region but request any potential owner meet us and the dog in person and if successful drive home with the dog. We do not ship dogs unmet. Undesexed dogs and puppies are not rehomed outside of the Greater Wellington Region.
