BJ is a 6 year old NZ Huntaway who finds himself homeless through no faut of his. He is a friendly, laid back sort of dog who loves to lean on you and have pats. BJ needs a home as a buddy companion. We cannot access all his history, just that he was raised with kids and cats in the home. He has been a house pet but also spent time in a rural environment.
BJ is currently underweight at 25kg but he is gaining weight now he's in our care. He has a few dings on him, and came to us in a neglected condition. He is averge size for a Huntaway, with a long body!
We have had BJ vet checked, vaccinated, registered, wormed and deflead and he will be desexed next week. So there is an adoption fee of $250 to contribute towards these costs. This is heavily subsidised for you!
BJ's new home must have a safe secure place for him to be while you are out. ARAN dogs cannot be chained to kennels or left for very long periods home alone. All ARAN dogs must sleep indoors.
Our adoptions are subject to an approval process, and if successful there is then a two week trial period, to make sure the dog is a good fit for you. If things don't work out they return to us.
