Looking for a good home

10 months old

Marley is a cute, 10 mth old, female Staffy X Lab X Heading Dog
She is medium sized with a big personality & huge love for people / dogs

Good with Cats
Loves Dogs
Good with kids under 10: With supervision
Good with kids over 10: Yes
Fencing 1.5m +
Can be left alone for short periods during work hours

Marley is a cuddle monster she loves people & will happily follow you like a shadow
She is very affectionate, trusting & takes very little to warm up to you

She is a playful, energetic & goofy young dog
She loves chew toys, walks & playing tug-of-war

She hasn’t shown any resource guarding around food, treats or toys
Marley knows sit, lie down, stay & shake
She is eager to please & is motivated by both food & toys

Having dogs around helps her enormously; she quickly picks up their routines & rules & is respectful when the dog has had enough

She loves sleeping in the sun & sniffing the garden
Will sleep throughout the night in her crate
She is comfortable being home alone, though may bark for a few mins initially then settle

On walks, she is working on managing her excitement seeing other dogs can cause her to bark & sometimes pull
She has some young-dog habits, like jumping up & playful mouthing

Formerly a street dog, she is still learning about living inside & is working on her toileting, she will go if access but can't yet reliably hold for longer periods inside

She would love a home where she is part of the family, doted on & confident, well-trained dogs that enjoy some Staffy-style play

She is still learning, but has all the parts to become a great adult
